SYNOPSIS

SINGAPORE - Investor Khalfan Saeed Al Kaabi (KS) agreed to acquire a 12.13% stake, or 29 mil new ordinary shares, in Linair Technologies Ltd (LT), an exhaust systems manufacturer, for 0.12 Singapore dollar (0.305 Saudi Arabian riyals/$0.081 US) per share, or a total value of S$3.48 mil (8.839 mil riyals/$2.361 mil), in a privately negotiated transaction. Concurrently, KS was granted an option to raise his interest to 51.47% from 12.13% by acquiring a further 39.33% stake, or 94 mil new ordinary shares, in LT. The transactions were approved by the board of directors and were subject to shareholders' and regulatory approval.
