Sunset Farms in Jamul, Calif., has sold edible fresh flowers to food service distributors for more than 20 years. Recently founder John Clemons created Sweetfields, a company that specializes in candied, freezer-safe flowers that chefs use to decorate frozen cakes and salads. Its newest line features violas hand-dipped in Swiss chocolate.
