"[During planned maintenance] we had approximately 40 people and lots of equipment packed into this small 12-foot area around the blast furnace to get the job done. The sound of large air impacts rattling, welding and air arcing machines, tow motors, jack hammers and so on filled the room. It was utter chaos, as you can imagine. And I loved it."
