"I was most apprehensive about my move to Midland, Michigan because I had always lived in the South - within a couple hours of family. Although my transition was easy, there were some things that Michigan just didn't have. I missed Chick-fil-A, and quickly learned that 'y'all' was not a term heard frequently. Despite a few minor differences, I decided to take full advantage of my experience living in another part of the country."
